GALACTIC ICE RINK COVID RESTRICTIONS as of OCTOBER 9th, 2020

GUIDELINES AS SET FORTH BY PENNSYLVANIA STATE HEALTH – October 2020

Currently in PA we are under an indoor capacity limit, for spectators and participants, that applies to hockey games, practices and all on-ice events.

As of October 9th, 2020, the following capacity guidelines will be enforced at Galactic Ice Rink.

The limited capacity of Galactic Ice will be set at a maximum of 220 persons.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT FACE COVERING RESTRICTIONS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE MANDATORY WITHIN GALACTIC ICE AND WILL BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO. WE ARE A PRIVATELY OWNED FACILITY AND RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANYONE NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE RESTRICTIONS PUT FORWARD.

. Entrance and exit to the arena will be clearly marked and must be followed.

The plan, within Galactic Ice, must be followed by all associations.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR SPECTATORS AND PARTICIPANTS

Take your temperature before coming in… 100+ temperature. STAY HOME!

Please do not arrive more than a half hour before your game time. The entire facility is disinfected, where feasible, between time slots.

Skaters should arrive partially dressed in their equipment, when possible.

LOCKER ROOMS ARE PROVIDED FOR TEAMS AND, WHEN POSSIBLE, MUST BE USED. THE LOBBY IS NOT TO BE USED FOR TEAM FUNCTIONS OR TO GET PREPARED FOR ICE ACTIVITIES.

Use Hand Sanitizer stations provided frequently.

Please be aware that our staff will be diligently cleaning and disinfecting while events are ongoing. We ask that you give them the space they need to perform this function.

Masks will be worn by employees, where possible.

Masks are not mandatory while on the ice or bench areas.

Occupancy levels must be strictly adhered to.

Spectators will be encouraged to please watch the games and practices from the bleacher area, while maintaining social distancing.

During the on-ice program turn over, patrons are encouraged NOT to congregate, in groups. THE LOBBY AREA MUST BE CLEARED TO ALLOW FOR THE NEXT GROUP TO ENTER.

We ask that spectators do not hang behind in the building after their session is complete.

While under these restrictions we ask that parents to not invite a large number of family members to participate.

No shower use in the locker rooms are allowed at this time.

We need everyone to work together during this unusual time. We all have the same goal that is to keep our programs on going for the entire family. To ensure that Galactic Ice remains open we all need to do our part.

Thank you.
